Infusing art into perfume

Atelier Tonatto was founded in 2000 by Laura Bosetti Tonatto and her husband Alberto. Today it represents excellence in Italian perfumery and is led by their daughter, Diletta. Tonatto creates perfumes for people and for the home, all their scents are made in-house using the oldest and most traditional techniques of haute perfumery as well as the best ethically and sustainably grown raw materials from Italy and France.

Tonatto’s path is paved by a long-standing relationship with art, in the past they have translated famous paintings such as Caravaggio’s “Il Suonatore di Liuto” into perfumes. The brand specialises in artistic olfactory installations and in olfactory portraits, which Diletta creates for her clients by analysing the symbolic value of fragrances. The shop sells the brand’s products and also gives clients the opportunity to have their own bespoke fragrance created for them.
